Abstract

We present a new method for solving variational inequality problems (VIPs) based on double inertial terms with a modified subgradient extragradient self-adaptive step size method. Our proposal utilizes double inertial acceleration to improve convergence behavior and stability in solving VIPs. Strong convergence theorems for the proposed algorithms are established under some mild assumptions on the control parameters in 2-uniformly convex and smooth real Banach spaces. Numerical experiments demonstrate the efficacy and advantages of our technique compared to existing methods in the literature.
