Abstract
Since Free Disposal Hull (FDH) was proposed, scholars in different fields have quickly recognized that it is an excellent and easily used methodology to evaluate the relative efficiency of entities called decision making units (DMUs). In this work, an inequality evaluation approach, which is equivalent to FDH model is proposed. Moreover, considering the imprecise production data which are collected from observation or investigation, the fuzzy inequality evaluation approach is also proposed. The relative efficiency of DMU depends on the number of solutions of inequalities. Finally, the use of the proposed approach is illustrated by means of an example.
