Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for almost contraction mappings via simulation functions in metric spaces. Moreover, some examples and applications in order to illustrate the reality of our generalizations and usability of the results are given. The main results of the article extend the published corresponding results in this area, especially the paper published in Carpathian Mathematical Publications 11 (2) (2019), 475-492.
